Job summary

Motorola Solutions, based in Chicago, seeks a seasoned corporate communications professional to lead strategic storytelling and tier-1 media relations. You will guide executive thought leadership, draft media materials, and collaborate with Investor Relations to support earnings-related content.

You must have 8+ years in corporate communications or journalism, a bachelor’s in journalism/communications/English, and be ready to work in a hybrid Chicago office.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in corporate communications, PR agency, or journalism.
• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications or English preferred.
• Based in Chicago with hybrid schedule.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely; sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic thought leadership plans for company executives and coordinate with owned and earned media.
• Draft media relations materials including pitches, press releases and contributed content; manage executive spokespeople.
• Support earnings announcements and investor communications; gather feedback and translate into a communications plan.
• Cultivate relationships with national/financial media; coordinate interviews from start to finish; track coverage and report results.
