Job summary

Motorola Solutions in Chicago seeks a Director of Corporate Communications to shape and protect the company's global reputation. You will partner with the Chairman & CEO's office, Finance, Investor Relations, Strategy and Legal to craft messaging for earnings, investor events, and major strategic transactions.

The role requires 10+ years of experience in corporate comms, a proven track record in executive thought leadership, and mastery of top-tier media relations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of corporate communications experience in a publicly traded company, leading PR agency or financial journalism.
• Demonstrated track record of designing and executing executive thought leadership programs for C-suite leaders.
• Proven experience managing public company financial communications, quarterly earnings and M&A messaging.
• Strong writing, media relations and crisis communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Advise executive leadership and act as a strategic partner to drive corporate messaging.
• Lead financial communications, quarterly earnings releases and investor relations alignment.
• Oversee communications for mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
• Build and nurture relationships with top-tier media and key stakeholders.
• Develop executive positioning, keynote material, and thought leadership programs.
