Job summary

DRW, a diversified trading firm headquartered in Chicago, seeks a Corporate Actions Associate to join the Global Trading Operations team. This role supports daily corporate actions processing and acts as the primary contact for inquiries, working with product and technology to build a new events system.

The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years in corporate actions, strong data and vendor experience, and excellent communication. The position offers a competitive base salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of corporate actions experience across regions/markets
• Solid understanding of corporate action types, lifecycle, and nuances
• Experience with corporate action vendor data and prime broker portals
• Working knowledge of equity instrument reference data
• Proven track record delivering operational projects and measurable results
• Strong written and verbal communication; capable of stakeholder engagement

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for daily Corporate Actions operations and research
• Review and validate dividend, mandatory and voluntary events in the event system; resolve exceptions
• Collaborate globally to oversee entitlement and liability processing; resolve daily exceptions with tech
• Monitor and process upcoming voluntary corporate action elections promptly
• Reconcile entitlements against prime broker and custodian reports
• Act as SME; respond to inquiries from trading desks and other stakeholders
• Partner with technology to enhance operations; define logic for entitlement bookings and testing
