Job summary

DRW, a diversified trading firm, seeks a Corporate Actions Associate to join the Global Trading Operations team in Chicago. You will serve as the main contact for corporate action processing, work with product managers and technology to build a new actions system, and improve daily operations while reducing risk.

The role requires independent, detail-oriented problem solving with 3–5+ years in corporate actions, strong communication skills, and a track record of operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of corporate action experience across regions/markets.
• Understanding of corporate action types and lifecycle.
• Experience with vendor data and prime broker portals preferred.
• Familiarity with equity reference data preferred.
• Operational project experience to drive results.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Reliable team player able to handle day-to-day ops and project work.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary support contact for daily Corporate Actions operations and research.
• Review and validate dividend, mandatory, and voluntary event details and resolve exceptions and risk.
• Collaborate with global teams to oversee entitlement and liability processing and resolve daily exceptions with tech partners.
• Monitor and process upcoming voluntary corporate action elections.
• Reconcile entitlements against prime broker and custodian reports.
• Investigate and respond to inquiries from internal trading desks and other stakeholders promptly.
• Partner with technology teams to enhance operations and define system logic for entitlement bookings and adjustments.
• Support evolving risk and coverage models and suggest controls for smooth processing.
