Job summary

Sony Music Publishing in Nashville is seeking a detail-focused data administrator to support the international client and song data lifecycle. You will handle day-to-day data entry, maintenance of client accounts and works, and ensure registrations align with local territories and timelines.

You will gain exposure to proprietary data tools, collaborate with the Data Team and registration processes, and use JIRA to track deliveries, reports, and amendments in a fast-paced music-publishing

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Experience with relational databases and data management.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Analytical mindset with ability to learn and apply notes and training materials.
• Proactive communication and timely responses to messages and queries.
• Familiarity with Excel, Outlook/Email, Teams and Word.
• Interest in Music Publishing Administration is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day entry and maintenance of international Sony & EMI affiliate client and song data.
• Create and maintain client accounts, works, ensuring registrations are ready and compliant.
• Learn and use copyright department tools for data ingestion and updates.
• Work with registration processes and timelines.
• Collaborate with Atlassian JIRA for project tracking and deliveries.
• Support large-scale projects, data amendments, and catalog deliveries.
• Organize, track, and file reports and queries via email, JIRA, and drives.
