Job summary

Crusoe is seeking a strategic and results-driven Global Category Manager, Cooling, to lead global sourcing, supplier management, and contract negotiations across Crusoe Cloud’s data center categories. This role focuses on cost efficiency, supply resilience, and cross-regional partnerships, as Crusoe expands.

The candidate will be a strong operator and strategic thinker, serving as the single-threaded leader for global category strategy and supplier relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• 5–7+ years in strategic sourcing, category management, or procurement.
• Experience with data center infrastructure, cloud, or hardware supply chains is preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement global sourcing and category strategies aligned with Crusoe’s objectives.
• Evaluate and manage relationships with key global suppliers and ensure quality and delivery.
• Lead negotiation of global supplier contracts and terms for favorable pricing and conditions.
• Conduct risk assessment and contingency planning to ensure business continuity.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders to plan category needs across the business.
• Analyze global spend, market conditions and supplier performance to identify savings.
• Lead quarterly business reviews with strategic suppliers and drive performance improvements.
• Champion sustainability in procurement and stay current with industry trends.
