Job summary

Game Devs of Color Expo is seeking a Global Controller to own US accounting, reporting, and compliance end-to-end—from day-to-day bookkeeping to GAAP calls, tax filings, audits, and quarterly process improvements.

You will lead month-end close, coordinate auditors across jurisdictions, ensure strict controls, and drive scalable finance automation with AI tooling. 10–15 years in Big 4/public accounting and deep US GAAP + international tax expertise are required.

Qualifications

• Own US accounting, reporting, and compliance end-to-end (bookkeeping to GAAP) with strong controls.
• Lead US federal/state and international tax filings and cross-border structures.
• Own audits and reporting, including investor updates and due diligence.
• Build and automate scalable finance processes across accounting, billing, payroll, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end close under US GAAP, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Coordinate auditors across multiple jurisdictions and oversee audit readiness.
• Drive automation to reduce manual work and error risk in finance processes.
• Provide strategic financial insights to support decision-making at exec level.
