Harmer is seeking a Global Controller to lead accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls from The Woodlands, TX. In this role, you will partner with the CFO on policies and strategic initiatives, oversee a global accounting team, and interact with senior management across multiple sites.

The position emphasizes technical controllership, operational finance, and team leadership with some international travel, and is fully on-site in The Woodlands.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Active CPA certification.
• 8+ years progressive accounting experience across manufacturing, technical accounting, and global org.
• Big 4 or national CPA firm audit experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Oversee global monthly close, consolidation, and financial reporting per corporate deadlines.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, annual, and tax-related reporting across operating units.
• Maintain consistent accounting policies, reporting practices, and internal controls.
• Promote governance, ethical conduct, and financial discipline across the organization.
• Coordinate with external auditors and technical accounting resources as needed.
• Support acquisitions, integrations, and special accounting projects.
