Job summary

Tekion Corp is seeking an International Controller to oversee accounting, reporting, and compliance for Tekion's global operations. This role ensures consistency across regions, supports intercompany processes, and partners with local and corporate teams to enable accurate reporting and strong controls.

Requirements include 7+ years of international accounting experience, a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, and a CPA is a plus. Deep knowledge of US GAAP, SOX, and NetSuite is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• CPA designation is a plus; Big 4 or professional services background preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with international operations.
• Strong Excel skills and NetSuite experience recommended.
• Solid knowledge of US GAAP, SOX controls, and tax reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close, statutory reporting, and intercompany reconciliation across EMEA, Canada and India.
• Review and post journal entries, maintain reconciliations and flux analyses.
• Oversee global consolidations, FX revaluations, and transfer pricing alignment.
• Coordinate with foreign entities' local accountants for timely monthly reporting.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP, local standards, and tax regulations.
• Assist with filings and deadlines for local and international accounting rules.
• Implement and maintain internal controls; perform SOX controls for audit readiness.
• Support international tax structure compliance and intercompany documentation.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulators.
• Coordinate internal and external audit and tax requests.
• Collaborate with FP&A, tax, treasury, and legal teams on cross-border initiatives.
• Identify process improvements and assist with accounting software implementations.
• Mentor and manage international accounting team members.
