Job summary

Aermican Orthodontics seeks a Domestic General Accounting leader to oversee a team handling accounts receivable, accounts payable, cost accounting and general ledger activity in the US. You will ensure the US balance sheet is accurate and perform P&L variance analysis.

The role focuses on month-end close processes, inventory costing, and implementing costing best practices across domestic finance functions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Domestic Accounting Manager who leads a team of 7 in AR, AP, cost accounting and general ledger activity.
• Ensure US balance sheet is properly stated and reconciled.
• Perform variation analysis on the P&L.
• Oversee cost accounting for product costing, LIFO, R&D tax credits, inventory, and COGS reporting at month end.
• Ensure cost accounting practices are followed and products/inventory are properly costed.
• Develop best-practices for costing with the cost accounting team.
