Job summary

Orthodontic Experts is hiring a Senior Accountant to oversee accounting operations and the financial close process. You will ensure accurate reporting, maintain internal controls, and support growth objectives.

The role includes leading month-end/year-end close, policy development, and mentoring Bookkeepers across multiple entities. A Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and 3–5 years of experience are required, with strong communication and detail orientation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field is required.
• 3–5 years of hands-on accounting and general ledger experience.
• Experience managing month-end and year-end close processes.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes with journal entries and reconciliations.
• Manage company credit card programs across entities and ensure policy compliance.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Provide guidance and training to Bookkeepers and Accounts Payable Clerk.
• Assist in budgets, forecasts, and financial projections using data analysis.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and reporting efficiency.
