TEKsystems is seeking a Controller to oversee the accounting department for a multi-billion dollar company with global reach. Lead a team, ensure timely monthly closes, and maintain GAAP-compliant reporting across domestic and international entities.

Partner with financial leadership and support Oracle Fusion initiatives while guiding staff development and process improvements. The role requires a strong GAAP foundation, 8+ years of accounting and 4+ years of supervisory experience, and expert

Qualifications

• Accounting degree required, CPA or MBA a plus.
• 8+ years of general ledger and financial reporting experience.
• 4+ years of supervisory experience, including managing managers.
• Experience with intercompany eliminations, consolidations, and international entities.
• Strong technical GAAP foundation.
• Advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily activities of the accounting department with emphasis on balance sheet, intercompany settlements, eliminations, and consolidations across domestic and international entities.
• Ensures proper accounting treatment of all intercompany activity and allocations.
• Ensures a timely, accurate monthly close process with no material surprises to leadership.
• Reviews and analyzes account and bank reconciliations; ensures items are identified, escalated, and resolved.
• Supports parent company reporting requirements accurately and on time.
• Educates and develops accounting staff on technical and professional issues; invests in team growth.
• Prepares and communicates financial information for audits and reviews.
• Supports Oracle Fusion implementation and transition away from legacy processes.
