Sony Pictures Entertainment is seeking a Coordinator to support the Director, Content Protection and SPE’s global anti-piracy efforts. You will assist executives, help monitor title coverage, coordinate with vendors and platforms, and contribute to protection strategies for SPE’s IP.

Ideal candidates have 0-3 years’ experience, a Bachelor’s degree preferred, strong cross-functional communication, and proficiency with MS Office.

• Ability to communicate effectively cross functionally, with business partners, and with various outside points of contact
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Responsibilities

• Manages day-to-day support of SPE’s global content protection / anti-piracy operations, including comprehensive title management responsibilities (e.g., service commencements with vendors, tracking and monitoring title coverage, adjustments to title coverage to align with objectives, billing, etc.)
• Enforces on infringement of SPE content and serves as the initial point of review and action, activates rights and policies for fingerprinting initiatives, and coordinates with points of contact across business partners, online platforms, and vendors
• Serves as point of contact for leak notification and referrals of suspected piracy incidents
• Tracks global release schedules for SPE content to coordinate protection efforts and make recommendations on risk mitigation and security
• Provide feedback and recommendations for technical system enhancements including UGC/Social Media content management systems and SPE’s rights management system
• Conducts ad hoc reports related to piracy trends and specific piracy threats
