Sonypictures in Culver City is seeking a compliance operations specialist to join their Ethics & Legal Compliance department. This role involves maintaining compliance processes, leading mergers and acquisitions integration, and project managing new compliance solutions. The base salary range for this position is $77,000‑$90,000, and the role may also qualify for additional benefits. Experience in the entertainment industry is a plus.
Reporting to the Vice President, Ethics & Legal Compliance, this role is an integral part of the SPE Ethics & Legal Compliance department. With day-to-day oversight and input from the Vice President, this position is responsible for: 1) maintaining effective processes and procedures to achieve successful implementation of global compliance requirements designed to mitigate compliance risks; 2) leading the SPE Ethics & Legal Compliance department’s merger and acquisitions integration team; 3) project managing the design, development, and ongoing operation of new compliance solutions designed to address evolving business and compliance requirements; and 4) collaborating with business teams and relevant cross‑functional stakeholders to undertake additional activities as needed to address compliance requirements globally.
The anticipated base salary for this position is $77,000‑$90,000. This role may also qualify for annual incentive and/or comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location of the position.
