Amazon.com Services LLC's Amazon Music is seeking a Principal, Content Acquisition I Major Labels to lead global licensing negotiations and strategy, driving content strategy and rights acquisition.

The role reports to the Global Head of Record Label Licensing & Strategic Partnerships and requires extensive experience in licensing, analytics, and cross-functional collaboration; offers opportunities to influence Amazon Music's expansion and global footprint.

Competenze

• Eight or more years of account management, business development, content licensing or finance experience.
• Eight or more years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Mansioni

• Determine record label licensing strategy for new projects and initiatives.
• Develop and maintain relationships with major labels at decision-making levels.
• Negotiate complex license agreements to secure rights and expand existing deals.
• Analyze royalty models and terms to assess financial impact.
• Collaborate with legal to review licensing terms and conditions.
• Partner with Finance/Content Analytics to evaluate deal terms across tiers and territories.
• Audit metrics, perform data-driven deep dives to identify root causes and inform decisions.
• Monitor the competitive landscape to inform Amazon Music's strategic priorities.
