Job summary

Feld Entertainment’s SMX unit in Ellenton, FL is seeking a Director of Content Licensing to drive growth of our licensing strategy for footage, photos and short-form content worldwide. This strategic and operational role oversees the new content licensing unit and manages day-to-day licensing requests.

You will lead negotiations, build relationships with licensees and media entities, and collaborate across Operations, Global Partnerships, Public Relations, Digital Marketing, and Legal.

Qualifications

• Requires a college degree and 5+ years in media licensing or rights management.
• Experience in a fast-paced sports media environment preferred.
• Strong understanding of IP and contract negotiation essentials.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for licensing, rights management and licensee relationships.
• Serve as primary contact for footage and photo licensing needs for SMX.
• Lead license negotiations, renewals and terms favorable to revenue growth.
• Collaborate with Operations, Global Partnerships, PR, Digital Marketing and Legal.
• Perform due diligence on content requests, licensing scope and usage parameters.
• Oversee compliance and reporting of content usage to stakeholders.
