The role supports a new licensing unit and oversees day-to-day management of footage, photos, and short-form requests. Responsibilities include leadership for licensing and rights management, licensee relations, negotiation of agreements and renewals, due diligence on usage, and compliance reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years in media licensing, rights management or content acquisition.
• Experience in sports media or sports entertainment preferred.
• Strong understanding of IP and copyright law and contract negotiation.
• Ability to manage high request volumes with attention to detail.
• Strong relationship management and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritize effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for licensing and rights management.
• Build and maintain relationships with licensees and content users.
• Serve as the primary contact for footage and photo licensing needs.
• Lead negotiation of license agreements and renewals.
• Perform due diligence to assess feasibility and risks of usage parameters.
• Ensure compliance through internal reporting of content usage.
• Collaborate with Operations, Global Partnerships, Public Relations, Digital Marketing, and Legal.
• Supervise the Media Manager, Content Licensing.
