Job summary

BD, headquartered in Franklin Lakes, NJ, seeks a Manager of Consolidations Accounting to lead global financial statement consolidation, monthly close, and forecasting. The role reports to the Senior Manager of Consolidations in Corporate Controller’s Group and collaborates with CAO, FP&A, Tax, and Internal Audit.

The ideal candidate brings strong accounting expertise, leadership across regions, and the ability to drive efficiency and controls improvements in a multinational environment.

Qualifications

• B.S. in accounting or equivalent.
• 6–10 years in public accounting or corporate accounting/consolidations.
• Supervisory experience, direct or indirect.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and analytical ability.
• Experience with consolidated financial statements preparation.
• Continuous improvement mindset and Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Review consolidated worldwide financial statements, journal entries, and analyses.
• Provide global oversight to build consistent processes and controls.
• Support SEC filings, annual reports, footnotes, and disclosures.
• Collaborate with tax, treasury, and other departments on issues.
• Support external audits and SOX compliance.
• Lead or contribute to consolidations and intercompany eliminations.
• Drive close acceleration and automation within the team.
