Job summary

Ensono is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead the global close and consolidation, ensuring timely, accurate US GAAP-compliant financial statements. You will partner with regional teams, manage technical accounting initiatives, and strengthen internal controls in a matrixed, global environment.

The role requires strong systems aptitude, CPA credentials, and a track record in managing people. The position is hybrid, based in Downers Grove with weekly office presence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting and CPA are required.
• Public accounting experience.
• Minimum 7 years progressive accounting experience, including people management.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and global financial reporting.
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a global, matrixed environment with strong communication.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the global monthly close and consolidation process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting under US GAAP.
• Support and strengthen the financial reporting control environment; prepare audit-ready documentation.
• Coordinate with global and regional teams to drive consistency and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Drive improvements in close timeliness, accuracy, and predictability; perform variance analysis.
• Lead, coach, and develop the financial reporting and consolidation team.
