BDO USA, LLP seeks a Manager of Consolidations to lead multi-entity financial close, eliminate intercompany balances, and oversee reconciliation activities. You will coordinate global consolidation efforts, review journal entries, and strengthen internal controls while partnering with corporate finance and business-unit teams.

The role requires 7+ years in accounting with strong U.S. GAAP knowledge and ERP system experience; CPA preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Seven (7) or more years of progressive accounting experience, required.
• Two (2) or more years of management experience, preferred.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, consolidated reporting, foreign currency matters, and intercompany accounting, preferred.
• Experience with large ERP systems and consolidation or financial close platforms, preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation activities for domestic and international entities, including review of entity submissions, consolidation adjustments, currency translation, noncontrolling interests, and consolidated financial results.
• Prepare intercompany eliminations and intercompany balances, including revenue and expense, receivables and payables, investments and equity, and unrealized intercompany profits.
• Oversee intercompany reconciliations and investigate differences; coordinate with accounting teams to resolve out-of-balance positions and ensure reconciliations within close timelines.
• Apply intercompany accounting policies, reconciliation standards, and close requirements; identify opportunities to standardize processes.
• Review consolidation and elimination journal entries, reconciliations, rollforwards, and schedules for completeness and accuracy per policy and U.S. GAAP.
• Coordinate close calendar, monitor dependencies, escalate issues, and ensure deadlines are met.
• Assist with internal and external audit requests related to consolidations, eliminations, intercompany balances, and related controls.
• Maintain internal controls and documentation over consolidation processes and address deficiencies.
• Assist management with special projects, accounting research, system enhancements, and organizational changes.
