Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Lead Infrastructure Engineer to drive the architecture and optimization of global infrastructure platforms within the Infrastructure Platform Network Services team. You will mentor engineers, shape technical strategy, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver highly available, secure systems that scale with business demand.

Qualifications

Formal training or certification on infrastructure engineering concepts.
Proven implementation delivery experience within a global financial or regulated environment.
Deep knowledge of networking and telecommunications technologies (Layers 0–3).
Experience coordinating delivery with telecom providers and MSPs, including contract and SLA oversight.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across business and technical domains.
Able to manage multiple concurrent implementations across geographies.
Working familiarity with cloud connectivity and hybrid architectures and their planning impact.
Uses enterprise AI capabilities to accelerate infrastructure analysis and documentation.

Responsibilities

Orchestrate post-order carrier milestones across the delivery lifecycle; track progress and mitigate risks.
Coordinate install and cutover, including site/provider scheduling and handoffs.
Plan and execute testing aligned to acceptance criteria and document evidence.
Complete BAU handover with closure evidence and metadata for readiness and auditability.
Execute decommission/disconnect activities with governance and evidence.
Provide customer-facing milestone updates and risk mitigation plans with Demand Managers.
Coordinate with telecom providers, vendors, and internal teams end-to-end from design to BAU handover.
Manage change control inputs, cost governance, and documentation hygiene across connectivity implementations.
Leverage AI capabilities to accelerate analysis and ensure traceability and security alignment.
Apply reuse-first, AI-assisted practices to identify issues and validate remediation options.
