Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Lead Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and optimize infrastructure platforms supporting global operations. You will mentor engineers, drive strategy, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver highly available, secure systems.

The role focuses on network connectivity solutions across the Americas, leading requirements, designs, bids, and governance to ensure compliant, scalable delivery. A strong cloud and telecom background is essential.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in infrastructure engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
• Expertise with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and networking services.
• In-depth knowledge of Layers 0-3 networking, including DWDM, IP-VPN, DIA, Ethernet.
• Experience in the Americas telecom connectivity market and vendor ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements capture and translate connectivity needs into solution requirements.
• Develop end-to-end connectivity designs and associated diagrams.
• Own tender and bid lifecycle for telecom connectivity, including vendor evaluations.
• Embed resilience, monitoring, and risk controls into all designs.
• Lead design reviews and governance while ensuring adherence to standards.
