Job summary

Baltimore Aircoil Company seeks a Manager of Global Component Engineering to lead a worldwide team of engineers. You will own component selection, design integration, and robust qualification for fans, pumps, valves, and related parts, ensuring performance and reliability across BAC products.

The role drives supplier qualification, cost-out initiatives, and lifecycle management while aligning with product engineering, manufacturing, and quality to meet regulatory and market needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 7–10 years of engineering experience with BS or MS.
• Experience with fluids, heat transfer, and airflow.
• Strong communication and project management skills.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams across regions.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead global component engineering and qualification process.
• Establish qualification standards, test plans, and documentation.
• Partner with Global Supply Chain to qualify alternate suppliers.
• Drive cost-out through design optimization and sourcing strategies.
• Lead the team to on-time completion of qualification projects.
