ExtraHop is seeking a Compliance and Regulatory Counsel to serve as a key legal partner for a global hi‑tech SaaS company. The role focuses on regulatory and data privacy matters, DPAs/SCCs, AI governance, and cross‑functional collaboration with Sales, Security, IT, and Finance.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of regulatory, data privacy, and SaaS experience, with strong project management and the ability to handle multi‑stakeholder workflows in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• J.D. or LL.M. with active US state bar.
• 5+ years of legal practice with expertise in regulatory compliance, data privacy, cloud/SaaS transactions, and third‑party risk management.
• Working knowledge of foundational tech and privacy regulations (GLBA, FERPA, GDPR/US privacy laws) and interest in EU AI Act and DORA.
• Proven ability to manage multi‑stakeholder workflows and meet tight deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Research and advise on complex global regulatory and compliance frameworks affecting ExtraHop as a B2B SaaS provider to enterprise clients.
• Draft and update DPAs and SCCs; support AI Governance initiatives and compliance programs.
• Serve as primary legal contact for SOC 2 readiness, audits, and policy development.
• Coordinate governance programs, training, ESG data collection, and regulatory reporting.
• Maintain knowledge bases, templates, and documentation repositories to improve self‑service and efficiency.
• Assist with export controls, hardware compliance, and regulatory reporting responsibilities.
