Job summary

Pluralsight is seeking a Global Compliance & Licensing Counsel to architect a comprehensive global compliance program and licensing strategy. You will design policies, lead a whistleblower program, and manage OFAC, FCPA, and IP law considerations across our tech platforms.

You will negotiate author/developer and software licensing agreements, oversee OSS compliance, and collaborate with HR, finance, and engineering to scale governance as Pluralsight grows globally.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of compliance experience in tech or software.
• Experience reviewing software licensing agreements, and developer/author agreements.
• Expert-level knowledge of FCPA, OFAC, and IP law as it applies to software/tech.
• Strong investigative and disclosure skills with whistleblower disclosures.
• Vendor risk management tools and due diligence workflows.
• Ability to collaborate across HR, finance, engineering and leadership to embed compliance.

Responsibilities

• Design and build a Global Compliance Framework, Code of Conduct, and policies; perform risk assessments for new markets and high‑risk jurisdictions.
• Establish and lead a multilingual Global Whistleblower Hotline; manage investigations and report findings to leadership.
• Operationalize anti‑corruption and trade compliance; implement ABAC policies and sanctions screening.
• Classify software products with ECCN; manage OFAC screening and export licenses.
• Create vendor compliance questionnaires and conduct vendor audits for IP protection and anti‑corruption.
• Review and negotiate OSS licensing, author/developer and software licensing agreements.
