Job summary

Pluralsight seeks a Global Compliance & Licensing Counsel to architect our corporate integrity program and own licensing strategy across open-source and software licenses.

You will design a world-class framework, lead the whistleblower program, and work with HR, finance, engineering, and leadership to embed governance while supporting hybrid/remote work from the US, including Westlake, TX as needed.

Qualifications

• JD required and active bar membership in any US state.
• Minimum 3 years of compliance experience in tech/software.
• Experience building compliance programs in tech or software.
• Experience reviewing and negotiating software licensing, developer/author, and IP-related contracts.
• Strong knowledge of FCPA, OFAC, and IP law.
• Experience managing internal investigations and whistleblower disclosures.
• Vendor risk management experience and screening tools.
• Remote role with on-site in Westlake, TX within 45 miles.

Responsibilities

• Design and build a Global Compliance Framework, Code of Conduct, and supporting policies.
• Lead the whistleblower program and investigations with confidential handling.
• Operationalize ABAC policies aligned with FCPA and UK Bribery Act.
• Manage export controls, ECCN classifications, and license management.
• Develop vendor risk management programs and due diligence workflows.
• Review and negotiate OSS licensing and other IP-related agreements to protect IP.
