Job summary

Daikin Comfort Technologies Manufacturing, L.P. is seeking an experienced Compliance Engineer for a high-volume manufacturing environment.

You will drive both domestic and international certification projects, coordinating with third-party agencies (UL, Intertek) and AHRI to ensure timely product performance and marking conformance. The role involves working with multiple departments to develop plans that meet new certification requirements without interrupting current or future product

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
4+ years industry experience in engineering.
8+ years experience with domestic and international compliance and certification programs.
HVAC/Refrigeration/Combustion/Gas Furnace experience preferred.
Willingness to travel up to 50–70% depending on testing season.

Responsibilities

As a member of the Product Compliance group, you will oversee AHRI certification program procedures and policies.
Maintain all certified product data in the AHRI Directory of Certified Product Performance.
Coordinate samples with 3rd party labs (UL/Intertek) and manage inventory.
Work with external laboratories to ensure proper conformance to test standards and timely project completion.
Clearly communicate issues to engineering and management both verbally and written; document and communicate compliance status to stakeholders.
Analyze and prepare testing reports.
Work with internal teams to improve product or process compliance.
Participate in design / technical product reviews.
Assess compliance to standards processes used for product submission for certification.
Compile and maintain technical report files for product.
