Job summary

UL Solutions is seeking an HVAC compliance-focused engineer to support product safety, testing, and certification initiatives. You will work with engineering teams, review technical data, and help ensure HVAC products meet safety standards.

The role offers growth and exposure to industry-leading programs. The position involves travel to client sites, coordinating laboratory activities, and communicating clearly with clients about requirements and timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or related field.
• 1+ years of professional engineering experience preferred.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, product compliance, or safety standards is a plus.
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Determine project scope, plan investigations, and set specifications based on client input and product data.
• Coordinate testing activities and communicate with clients about UL procedures, costs, and schedules.
• Provide technical assistance to clients on product inspection and UL requirements.
• Examine samples for compliance with UL requirements and inform clients of non-compliance or scope changes.
• Prepare data sheets, schedules, and reports; manage laboratory activities and documentation.
• Represent UL at industry events as needed and follow the UL Code of Conduct.
