Job summary

BrandSafway is seeking a Director of Global Compensation to lead the development and execution of the company’s long-term compensation strategy, while hands-on in design, governance, and analytics. The role blends strategic leadership with execution across base pay, incentives, and salary structures.

You will partner with senior leaders to ensure market competitiveness, internal equity, and regulatory compliance, driving efficiency through technology and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive compensation experience, including leadership of complex programmes.
• Strong technical expertise across base compensation, incentive plan design, salary structures, job architecture, governance.
• Experience designing and evaluating incentive plans across multiple units/regions.
• Strong business and financial acumen balancing competitiveness with cost and risk.
• Experience improving manual processes through technology and automation.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with large data sets.

Responsibilities

• Lead the global compensation function with strategic and technical leadership across pay programs and governance.
• Develop and execute compensation strategies to support objectives, competitiveness, retention, and financial performance.
• Standardize incentive programs across regions and units with governance and oversight.
• Partner with senior leaders to assess practices, identify risks, and implement practical solutions balancing business needs and equity.
• Provide expert design, administration, and governance of compensation processes and annual cycles.
• Improve efficiency, accuracy, controls, and scalability through technology and automation.
• Analyze market data to identify trends, pay disparities, and opportunities for leadership recommendations.
• Establish controls around sensitive compensation data and ensure confidentiality and compliance.
• Support compensation programs across a dispersed workforce, including union and non-union populations.
