Job summary
WP Engine seeks a visionary Principal Global Compensation Manager to lead design, execution, and evolution of global compensation programs in a remote, global team. You will drive pay philosophy, transparency, and equity modeling across a distributed workforce, partnering with senior leaders and leveraging Workday Advanced Compensation.
This role emphasizes strategic leadership, data-driven decisions, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-growing tech company.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive compensation experience in high-tech/SaaS.
- Workday Advanced Compensation hands-on configuration.
- Global compensation structures and regulatory awareness.
- Master-level modeling, data analysis, and financial planning.
- Ability to influence and present to executives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, HR, or related field.
Responsibilities
- Develop, evolve, and lead global cash, bonus, and equity strategies aligned with objectives.
- Champion global pay transparency readiness (EU/US laws).
- Oversee annual merit, promotion, and equity cycles in Workday.
- Support executive compensation design and equity modeling.
- Lead global job architecture, leveling, and geographic salary structures.
- Advise EE Business Partners and senior leaders on compensation decisions.
- Drive due diligence and post-merger integration strategies.
