Job summary

AlphaSense seeks a Director of Compensation to own the full compensation lifecycle and build a high-performing team. You will partner closely with the VP Total Rewards, Finance, Legal, and business leaders across AlphaSense to align compensation with the company’s IPO readiness and high-growth trajectory.

You will own compensation philosophy, structure, and programs, including base pay, incentives, and equity, while guiding governance, benchmarking, and program design across the organization.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a compensation function at scale in high-growth or newly public tech companies.
• Executive compensation experience and familiarity with Compensation Committee cadence.
• Demonstrated partnership with Finance, Legal, and People Business Partners.
• Comfort with ambiguity and driving change in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Define a multi-year compensation roadmap aligned with market positioning.
• Own global compensation structure across base pay, short-term incentives, and equity.
• Lead end-to-end compensation programs (Annual and Mid-Year reviews).
• Partner with VP Total Rewards on executive compensation and governance materials.
• Prepare Compensation Committee materials and support proxy/governance readiness.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition on offers and internal mobility guidelines.
• Oversee Workday configuration for compensation cycles and data integrity.
• Build and develop a high-performing, global compensation team.
