Job summary

KPMG LLP seeks a Senior Manager, Compensation & Benefits for its Global Mobility Services (GMS) practice in the United States. The role focuses on post-transaction compensation, benefits and share-based programs across multinational clients, leading teams and managing risk and client relationships.

Responsibilities include advising on tax and operational matters in corporate transactions, mentoring staff, and driving quality service.

Qualifications

• Minimum seven years of recent experience in employer benefit strategies.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science or a related field.
• Law degree is a plus; CPA, EA, JD/LLM or other approved professional designations required or to be obtained within 1 year.
• Strong project management skills with experience leading large, complex multi-national client engagements.
• Ability to develop client relationships and provide advisory services with technical proficiency.
• Experience in at least three of the listed areas: total rewards/benefits, global compensation & equity, global employment tax, M&A advisory, executive compensation, mobility tax, corporate taxation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and manage a team focused on corporate transactions from a tax and operational perspective on employee rewards.
• Cultivate and maintain senior-level client relationships.
• Advise on technical, compliance and operational matters with accountability for quality service delivery.
• Lead engagement teams ensuring effective and efficient delivery of compliance and consulting services.
• Manage quality, risk and financial performance of engagements including budgeting and collections.
• Collaborate with clients and firm personnel; participate in business development across functions.
