Job summary

Tableau is seeking a Community Program Senior Analyst to lead engaging community programs, coordinate live and virtual event activations, run exciting contests, and help people around the world share how they use Tableau. This is a hybrid role with three days in office each week.

Based in Chicago, the role blends program management with analytics, requiring 3–5+ years in marketing or events, experience with Tableau/Excel, and strong communication to collaborate with Legal, Events, Marketing, and

Qualifications

3–5+ years in marketing, community engagement or managing live/virtual events, activations, and programs.
At least 1 year of using Tableau, Excel or similar analytics tools.
Strong detail orientation to manage timelines, multi-step projects, event logistics, and budgets.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and partners.

Responsibilities

Supports execution for global contests and product showcases, managing timelines, website updates, campaigns and budgets.
Plan and execute ongoing engagement programs, virtual events, and community moments.
Coordinate with Legal to set rules and eligibility and manage guest speakers and logistics.
Partner with Events, Marketing, and Product on rehearsals and live broadcasts.
Identify user-generated content and integrate it into marketing to drive product adoption.
Monitor participation metrics to deliver insights and demonstrate program value.
