Job summary

Oribe Hair Care, part of Kao, seeks an Assistant Manager, Global Communications & Partnerships to drive the global communications strategy and build brand equity through innovative press and influencer storytelling across markets.

You will support regional teams, execute strategic partnerships, and develop PR assets that maintain brand standards while driving revenue. A competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $79,000 plus bonus accompanies healthcare, 401(k) matching, and 36 total days off.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism and/or Communications preferred.
• 2-4 years' experience in a communications role.
• Passionate and knowledgeable about the beauty industry.
• Self-starter with strong written and oral communication skills.
• Willing and able to travel 2-5 times per year domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Support regional teams in executing local PR activities and manage press/interviewer requests.
• Assist in executing strategic partnerships to strengthen brand equity and growth.
• Develop PR tools and assets for all markets including press releases and Q&A.
• Execute high-touch press and influencer events and develop event assets.
• Draft internal communications content and present PR updates at meetings.
• Collect and analyze PR reports to measure ROI and KPI achievement across regions.
• Support general administrative tasks for the PR team like forecasting and sample tracking.
