Job summary

ExxonMobil in Spring, TX is seeking commercial analysts for its Global Trading team. You’ll support crude oil trading across the deal lifecycle from conception to realization.

You will monitor markets daily and build relationships with internal customers. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a numerate field, experience in physical or financial trading, strong commercial and analytical skills, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a numerate subject including Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics or Finance.
• Experience in physical or financial commodity trading or related support functions including risk management, market analytics or supply chain scheduling.
• Fluent English (written and spoken) is required.

Responsibilities

• Daily position monitoring, analysis and balancing within a given market.
• Build and maintain relationships with key internal customers.
• Lead resolutions with back office functions.
• Identify commercial opportunities across the value chain including storage and transportation agreements.
• Develop and maintain live dashboards for market analysis.
• Evaluate routine trading economics and prepare documentation for term contracts.
