GE Vernova seeks a senior supply chain leader to develop and lead global commodity strategies for metals, sheet and plate, rare earths and powders, and to support 3D printing/Advanced Manufacturing initiatives.
You will drive multi-year roadmaps, cross-functional partnerships, and supplier negotiations to optimise cost, quality and delivery while enabling sustainable, scalable supply chains across the Americas, Europe, and Asia.
In this role you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and leading the global supply chain commodity strategy for Metals, sheet & plate, critical minerals, rare earths and powder. You will also be supporting the global strategy development for 3D printing/ Advanced Manufacturing. You will need to flex from tactical execution of in year business objectives to multiyear strategies.
Lead the development & execution of global commodity supply chain strategies focused on our tier 1 and sub tier supplier procurement of sheet & plate, metal, rare earths and powders. Support our factories and suppliers on the strategy to obtain sub tier inputs in order to produce coating powders, fabrications and 3DP material. This may be accomplished through direct or directed purchase agreements. Work with cross functional owners to forecast long term demands for input materials. Partner with cross functional peers in order to promote long term sustainable solutions for the component value stream and sourcing organization. Partnership examples but limited to, EHS, Product Management, Material Management, Quality, Finance and Design Engineering. Interface with Business Leaders and functional owners to understand business priorities and determine appropriate commodity strategies. Develop a strategic long-term road map as well as key short term business commitments. Communicate accordingly and establishing a reporting rigor for metrics and execution. Work cross functionally to develop optimal buy strategies to optimize business objectives. Lead Sourcing initiatives including but not limited to safety and compliance goals, productivity/ cost , rationalization of supply base, sole source reduction, cycle reduction, on time delivery and quality improvements, Lean implementation, and cash flow improvement. Develop negotiations strategies and drive negotiations to achieve stated goals and objectives in accordance with the strategy, drive supplier selection, development, and overall supplier management. Manage strategic and tactical execution rhythms for Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost as needed. Work globally to support the needs of our factories and suppliers. All other job functions as needed.
Willingness and ability to travel at least 35%
Bachelor’s degree in Materials or Chemical engineering from an accredited university or college A minimum of 7 additional years of experience in Sourcing, Supplier Quality and / or Supply Chain

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $125,000.00 and $208,300.00.
The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
