GE Vernova is seeking a Sourcing Global Commodity Leader for SMR Heavy Fabrication. You will develop the global strategy for large, complex components like reactor pressure vessels and heat exchangers, and lead long-term supplier agreements across a global supply base.

The role requires deep commercial acumen, strong analytical skills, and executive-level communication to influence stakeholders without direct authority. Travel and nuclear compliance readiness are involved.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of professional experience in supply chain roles.
• US Export Controlled position.
• Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.

Mansioni

• Develop and lead the global commodity strategy for SMR machining and fabrication categories for large, complex components.
• Maintain understanding of global heavy fabrication/machining supply markets and capabilities.
• Gather, analyze and communicate market intelligence for sourcing decisions.
• Manage risk across the commodity portfolio including capacity, supplier concentration and geopolitical factors.
• Collaborate with S&OP and project teams to align demand with long-term sourcing and capacity strategies.
• Lead negotiations and execution of long-term, capacity-focused agreements.
• Structure commercial agreements to secure strategic outcomes and supplier development.
• Identify, assess and develop new suppliers meeting long-term SMR requirements.
