Job summary

Podium is seeking a Commissions & Payroll Manager to join the Finance team and shape compensation and payroll strategy globally. You will drive commission design for Sales and Customer Success, partner with Sales leadership, and ensure accurate payroll operations across domestic and international teams.

You will collaborate with Finance, Sales, Customer Success, and People teams to scale processes, improve data integrity, and implement automation to streamline payroll workflows and reporting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in Compensation, Sales operations, Finance, or Accounting. Preferably in a high growth or SaaS environment.
• BA/BS degree with emphasis on a quantitative field or related practical experience.
• Experience working with complex Excel (or GSheet) models.
• Experience automating processes and increasing efficiency using AI.
• Experience partnering with and presenting insights to senior leaders.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to translate quantitative insights to non-quantitative audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end commission strategy and payout processes.
• Design and implement commission plans for Sales and Customer Success.
• Meet with key Sales and Customer Success stakeholders to gather relevant information pertaining to commission payouts.
• Develop relationships with Sales leadership to represent Finance from a compensation perspective and influence compensation strategy.
• Work with Sales and Customer Success management to refine career progression plans to attract and retain top talent.
• Build and evolve our compensation programs and support related communication efforts and materials.
