Job summary

MiniMed is seeking a Senior, Global Commercial EHS Manager to lead the development and implementation of globally integrated EHS programs for commercial operations. The role focuses on regulatory compliance, safety culture, and employee well-being across diverse geographies.

The position requires collaboration with senior leaders, site teams, and HR/Legal/Facilities to maintain standards and drive continuous improvement. Location options include San Antonio, TX or Northridge, CA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience with 5+ years of managerial experience.
• Advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with 5+ years of managerial experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute global EHS strategies aligned with commercial business goals.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to regional and country-level commercial leaders.
• Design and implement global standards for workplace safety, ergonomics, travel health, and incident response.
• Lead occupational health initiatives including mental wellness, medical surveillance, and pandemic preparedness.
• Ensure compliance with international, national, and local EHS regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments and audits across commercial sites and field operations.
• Develop and deliver EHS training programs tailored to commercial teams.
• Foster a culture of safety ownership and continuous improvement.
• Partner with HR, Legal, Facilities, and Global Security to align health and safety priorities.
• Represent the company in external forums and regulatory engagements.
• Build strong partnerships across functions and geographies.
• Drives accountability, standardization, and continuous improvement across the global network.
