Job summary

Goodwin Procter Boston is seeking a Sr. Collection Specialist to manage day-to-day collections for assigned Partners, review past-due accounts, and coordinate with billing attorneys to ensure timely payment.

You will analyze credit risk, generate client reminder statements, monitor unapplied payments, and provide regular updates to management. Requirements include 3–5 years’ experience with billing software and strong Excel; Aderant Expert experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience with financial/billing software packages and Finance/Accounting operations.
• Proficiency in MS Office; strong Excel skills.
• Experience with Aderant Expert Billing System preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day collections operations for assigned partners.
• Interact with clients and billing staff to review past-due balances.
• Monitor payment arrangements and ensure adherence to terms.
• Prepare reports and provide updates to management on collections.
• Support client audit responses and generate monthly reminder statements.
