Job summary

Rubrik is seeking a Global Solutions Architect (Technical Director level) to be the senior technical authority for public cloud. You will define architectural direction, guide reference architectures, and lead the most strategic, high-risk engagements worldwide, including multi-region, multi-cloud estates.

You will also mentor architects, shape delivery models, and influence product roadmaps with evidence from our largest deployments. Occasional travel is required as part of this global role.

Qualifications

• 15+ years overall experience in cloud architecture or equivalent
• Hands-on enterprise-scale multi-region/multi-account cloud estates
• Deep AWS and Azure with strong GCP knowledge preferred
• Enterprise data protection, cyber resilience, and backup design expertise
• Fluent in cloud security/compliance frameworks and risk assessment
• Automation background: IaC, scripting, CI/CD
• Ability to learn new platforms quickly; strong executive communication
• Willingness to travel occasionally

Responsibilities

• Set global cloud architecture standards and reference architectures
• Serve as final technical escalation point for cloud decisions on strategic engagements
• Shape cloud service offerings, scoping, and delivery standards
• Lead architecture on complex, high-visibility engagements globally
• Mentor Solutions Architects and senior consultants across regions
• Represent Rubrik Professional Services at conferences and in technical publications
• Influence product direction with evidence from large deployments
• Partner with Sales for technical validation and risk assessment
