Job summary

Merck offers a Future Talent Program internship in New Jersey with the Global Clinical Trial Operations (GCTO) PMO. You will participate in and/or lead projects that enhance the ethical conduct of clinical trials.

The internship lasts up to 12 weeks, with a hybrid work arrangement and exposure to global trial operations. Applicants must be enrolled in a BS/BA program and able to start in May/June 2027, with at least two years of college completed.

Qualifications

• Candidate must be enrolled in a full-time BS/BA degree program in business or project management, continuous improvement, computer technology, or science related discipline.
• Available to work full-time for up to 12 weeks beginning in May or June 2027.
• Must have completed at least 2 years of collegiate study by June 2027.

Responsibilities

• Provide project management support for strategic initiatives.
• Assist efforts to simplify and standardize global processes.
• Develop tools to enhance conduct of clinical trials.
• Generate process maps and performance metrics.
• Develop effective communications.
• Exposure to clinical research and drug development within global trial operations.
• Deliver a capstone presentation illustrating internship objectives and activities.
