Job summary

Merck is offering a Future Talent Program internship in Clinical Operations for up to 12 weeks, starting May or June 2027. The GCTO team delivers over 200 trials with quality, safety and compliance. Interns engage with CI and may lead projects to improve quality processes across the globe.

The role emphasizes data analytics, quality oversight, and tools development, with opportunities to present intern deliverables in a capstone presentation.

Qualifications

• Candidate must be currently enrolled in a full-time BS/BA degree program in a STEM-related discipline.
• Available to work full-time for up to 12 weeks beginning in May or June 2027.
• Completed at least 2 years of collegiate study by June 2027.
• Programming experience and/or advanced MS Excel skills.
• Interest in managing quality and compliance driven projects.

Responsibilities

• Support the CI team which oversees Clinical Quality Management System for trials conducted by GCTO.
• Generate quality and compliance metrics.
• Develop communications for CI key stakeholders.
• Develop tools to support trending analysis from various quality data sets.
• Participate in process improvements.
• Develop a capstone presentation illustrating internship activities and deliverables.
