Job summary

Parexel is seeking a Senior Clinical Trial Manager to lead end-to-end clinical trial delivery with a cross-functional team, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and compliant execution across global trials.

Responsibilities include overseeing budgets, timelines, quality, and milestones; managing CRO/vendor relationships; and guiding risk mitigation, governance input, and stakeholder collaboration. Travel up to ~10% may be required.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree is required.
• Minimum 7+ years of clinical research with CRO/biotech/pharma leading Phase 1-4 global trials.
• 3-5 years direct experience leading end-to-end global clinical trials.
• Experience overseeing CRO/vendor management and trial execution.
• Strong financial management, analytical and decision-making skills.
• Leadership in multifunctional matrix environments.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Lead the cross-functional trial team to deliver the operational plan and end-to-end trial execution.
• Own trial delivery, budget, timelines, quality, and milestones across projects.
• Oversee CRO/vendor identification, SOWs, budget, KPIs and performance.
• Ensure milestones are met and risks are mitigated per goals.
• Identify and implement risk mitigations and contingencies.
• Ensure trial operations comply with global regulations and SOPs.
• Participate in Health Authority inspections and QA audits.
• Maintain inspection-readiness and quality oversight with R&D QA.
• Mentor onboarding of new team members and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Interface with Finance, Program Management, Vendor Management, and Regulatory teams.
• Provide variance analyses of budget vs. actuals to Finance.
