Job summary

Merck invites applicants for the Global Clinical Supply Intern in our Future Talent Program. The 12-week internship involves leading projects, analyzing supply chain data, and developing dashboards and insights to support GCS priorities.

You will collaborate with Planning, Quality, Logistics, and Digital teams, gaining exposure to end-to-end clinical supply while sharpening analytics and project management skills.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, PharmD, or PhD degree.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Foundational digital and data literacy, including comfort with data sets and business systems.
• Interest in applying analytics, automation, or AI-enabled tools to improve processes and decisions.
• Demonstrated leadership through academics, activities, or work.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead one or more high-impact projects supporting Global Clinical Supply priorities.
• Analyze business processes, operational data, and supply chain information to identify improvement opportunities.
• Support development of dashboards, reports, process maps, and business insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Planning, Quality, Logistics, Packaging, Digital, Clinical Operations, and External Partners.
• Participate in continuous improvement, operational excellence, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Develop recommendations supported by data and present findings to leadership teams.
• Contribute to process documentation, governance activities, and knowledge management efforts.
• Support project management activities including planning, risk identification, stakeholder engagement, and progress tracking.
