Job summary

Merck invites talented students to join the Future Talent Program as summer interns in Clinical Operations. The internship spans up to 12 weeks with projects across CI and quality management. You will engage with teams to drive compliant, data-driven improvements and present a capstone on deliverables.

Applicants should be enrolled in a STEM BS/BA program, have 2+ years of college, and be able to work full-time starting May or June 2027. Hybrid work arrangement is available.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be currently enrolled in a full-time BS/BA degree program in a STEM-related discipline.
• Must be available to work full-time for up to 12 weeks beginning in May or June 2027.
• Must have completed at least 2 years of collegiate study by June 2027.
• Programming experience and/or advanced MS Excel skills required.
• Interest in managing quality and compliance driven projects.

Responsibilities

• Support the CI team which oversees Clinical Quality Management System for trials conducted by GCTO.
• Generate quality and compliance metrics.
• Develop communications for CI key stakeholders.
• Develop tools to support trending analysis from various quality data sets.
• Participate in process improvements.
• Develop a capstone presentation illustrating internship activities and deliverables.
