Job summary

CSL Behring seeks a Senior Medical Director, Global Clinical Program Leader (GCPL) to design and lead the clinical strategy for a medicine, guiding the Clinical Development Team in a matrixed setting. The role reports to the Global Clinical Lead and requires strong scientific leadership and regulatory acumen.

The position is Hybrid, onsite in the posted locations with at least 3 days onsite weekly and relocation not provided.

Qualifications

• MD/PhD/PharmD in life science/healthcare required; board certification preferred.
• 5+ years of clinical development experience in pharma with study data review/evaluation.
• Experience leading in a matrixed environment and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the Clinical Development Team (CDT) and ensure representation in cross-functional discussions.
• Oversee development and maintenance of the Clinical Development Plan (CDP) aligned with PST and TALT.
• Integrate internal and external expert contributions to strategy and study design.
• Ensure alignment with CSL Behring processes, GCP and ICH regulations; drive decision making within the CDT.
• Serve as clinical development representative on cross-functional teams (SET, SMT, BRAT, BET, EAST).
• Develop and execute Medical Monitoring Plan (MMP) strategy; act as medical monitor for trials.
