Job summary

Immatics, a global leader in precision targeting of PRAME, seeks an Executive Director, Clinical Operations. This role reports to the VP, Clinical Operations and oversees the global clinical operations portfolio, ensuring strategic execution, scalable capabilities, and regulatory readiness.

Location is global with US/Germany focus and remote options. The position requires 15+ years in clinical research with 7+ years in senior leadership, and a strong track record in oncology trials, Phase III,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, nursing, or business discipline required.
• 15+ years of clinical research experience in biotech, pharma, or CRO with 7+ years in senior leadership.
• Advanced degree preferred and experience in Cell Therapy/Immuno-Oncology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day global Clinical Operations on behalf of the VP.
• Align teams to ensure Trial/Asset Ops, Site Ops, Biosample Ops, and Clinical Systems function cohesively.
• Bridge corporate milestones with operational realities and timelines.
• Maintain holistic portfolio visibility and manage cross-program dependencies.
• Lead budget planning, forecasting, and vendor governance.
• Drive transformation of future-state operating models for late-stage development.
