Job summary

IQVIA in Durham, NC seeks a Senior Clinical Lead to drive clinical delivery on large, multi-regional trials. You will lead clinical teams, partner with Project Leaders, ensure regulatory compliance and timely study milestones, and contribute to risk management and study finances.

You will mentor junior staff, support bid defenses, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in health care or other scientific discipline required.
• Requires 7 years clinical research/monitoring experience or equivalent.
• Knowledge of ICH/GCP regulatory requirements and SOPs.
• Contains broad protocol and therapeutic knowledge.
• Understanding of project finances and budgeting.
• Strong English written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure clinical delivery of assigned projects in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Accountable for meeting recruitment targets and recruitment strategies.
• Develop and monitor risk mitigation plans for the project lifecycle.
• Ensure quality delivery and monitor clinical quality issues.
• Manage project finances including EAC and changes against baseline.
• Lead the clinical team in large, global trials and coordinate stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and report to stakeholders.
• Oversee resourcing, staffing plans and training for the clinical team.
• Conduct regular team meetings and provide performance feedback.
