Job summary

IQVIA is seeking a seasoned contracting specialist to lead global start-up contracting strategies for sponsors and studies.

You will coordinate investigator grants, draft contract and budgeting language, and manage systems and timelines to support trial initiation.

Strong negotiation, regulatory understanding, and cross‑functional teamwork are essential to drive compliant, efficient contracting across regions. This role may involve onsite collaboration with client teams and QA processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
• At least 5 years of sponsor or CRO contracting experience with global/regional exposure.
• Strong negotiating, communication and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop contracting strategy and investigator grants to support proposals.
• Draft contract language, payment terms, and budgeting templates.
• Maintain contracting systems, tools, processes per project plan and scope.
• Collaborate with sponsors, stakeholders and RSU regions to deliver project scope.
• Provide legal, operational and financial contracting support for study teams.
• Assist with review of core documentation to support initiation and maintenance.
• Collect and disseminate contracting intelligence to support studies.
• Ensure contracting efficiency and adherence to timelines and financial goals.
• Report contracting metrics and out-of-scope activities as required.
• Work with Quality Management to ensure contract management and quality standards.
• Deliver client presentations and maintain CTMS/databases.
• Develop long-standing relationships with IQVIA clients.
